So we've been bowling for a couple of months now and it's something that we really enjoy doing. So we decided to do a tournament representing our pets, the winner will receive a hamburger(dog) or a chicken breast (cat)

POSTCROSSING!!

So, I have been exchanging postcard with people all over the world using postcrossing.com and every time i receive one it puts a big smile on my face!!!

I received 2 today so double the smiles :)

Sending postcards to other countries is very easy, at the post office you can purchase global stamps each one is $1.10  you can send it in an envelope or just the postcard by itself. 

This stamp features a rendering of Earth composed of images created from satellite data and redesigned with 3D computer technology. The view of our planet shows the Atlantic Ocean flanked by the Americas, Africa, and part of northern Europe. In the stamp art, the globe is isolated on a white background. The shape of the stamp is round. The text, which surrounds the image of Earth, includes the words “Global Forever.”

Artist Leonello Calvetti used a variety of maps, primarily from NASA, to create his design. With 3D computer technology he was able to modify depth, vary color, and create subtle light and shadow details on terrain surfaces to achieve a high level of photorealism while also attaining something new. “I always have been fascinated by space and what astronauts could see from out there,” Calvetti says. “As an artist, an illustrator, I wanted to make my own representation of the Earth.”

HAPPY POSTCROSSING!!

French Toast :)

Tonight i made me some french toast and it was D-E-licious.

I also made me some butter maple syrup in less than 40 seconds.

Reciper for Butter Maple Syrup

• equal parts salted butter (softened) and maple syrup (in my case 1/4 cup of each.)
• put in microwave for 30 secs and ready. 

For the toast

• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup milk
• nutmeg
• cinnamon

mixed all ingredients together and that it.

B-day Girl!

So I turned 28 on 1/21/13 and I had a awesome day. First we went to Blueberry Hill, and food like always was good and much of it. then we visit grandma and play scrabble upwords and OMG it was hard. ended up making our own rules. We also visit our local Zoo here are some pics.

we went bowling at Texas Casino and I beat my Sello... He picked my name and i picked his.. lol..

Finally here is my cake not just a regular cake an ice cream cake. it was D-E-licious.

 Overall i had a great day. Thanks to all that took the time to wish me a happy bday. Thanks to my sobrinos x cantarme happy birthday <3 and Thank you babe, I loved yesterday.

Hardcore Movie Goers

Not so hardcore this year...

Yesterday it was my 28th birthday and we finally got to see our first movie of the year, we watched

1. Gangster Squad - it was a good movie, with some very gory parts in it.
2. Movie 43 --1/27/13 - o yesterday we watched movie 43 and they are right, once you see it, it can't be unseen.. WOW.  the last part after the previews i was watching with my mouth open, i could not believe what i was seeing.. that bad. why didn't they used a dog instead!?
3. Hansel & Gretel : Witch Hunters -- 2/1/13 By far the coolest thing about this movie was (were?) the witches.
